7-inch long-range FPV motor
T-Motor Velox V2812
The classic model of T-Motor's Velox cinematic trio, for 7-inch long range and 7–8-inch X8 cinelifters on 6S, in 925KV and 1155KV; the 1155KV pulls 3353 g on a Gemfan 8040 at full throttle on T-Motor's 25.2 V bench.
- 7-inch long range
- 7–8-inch X8 cinelifters

The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 2812 motor drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are T-Motor’s bench figures for the GF8040-3 prop at 25.2 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 20% throttle.

What it pulls
T-Motor’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the GF8040-3: 1,403 g of thrust, 16.2 A, 404 W, 3.48 g per watt.
On your quad
20.6 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 13,411 g with the GF8040-3 at 25.2 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 5,610 g, 8.6 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.
What you get for $33.90
The classic model
T-Motor calls the V2812 the classic model of its V2808, V2812 and V3008 cinematic range, for 7–8-inch long-range explorers and 7–8-inch X8 cinematic drones.

Two windings
925KV and 1155KV, both rated at 25.2 V (6S).
Bench data for both KVs
Thrust, current, RPM and power in 20% steps on three 7.5- and 8-inch props at 25.2 V; at full throttle the 1155KV pulled 3014–3353 g and the 925KV 2470–2557 g.
What to pair it with
Our reading of T-Motor’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.
- ESC
- Peak current over 10 s is 63.1 A for the 1155KV and 41.4 A for the 925KV. Ligpower pairs it with T-Motor's F55A II 6S 4-in-1 or C55A 8-in-1. (T-Motor drawing, specs and test report, Ligpower product page)
- Props
- Ligpower names T-Motor's C7.5 × 4.6. On the bench at full throttle the 1155KV pulled 3234 g on the T7546-3, 3353 g on a Gemfan 8040 and 3014 g on an HQProp 8045. (Ligpower product page, T-Motor drawing, specs and test report)
- Battery
- 6S; T-Hobby suggests a 6S 5200 mAh 75C pack. (T-Motor drawing, specs and test report, T-Hobby product page)
- Frame
- 7–8-inch long-range frames and X8 cinelifters, per T-Motor. Four M3 holes, opposite holes 19 mm apart. (Ligpower product page, T-Motor drawing, specs and test report)

Bench data
Redrawn from T-Motor’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. 33.4 mm across, black, with five spokes in the top whose edges are anodised red, round a knurled hub. (T-Motor drawing, specs and test report, T-Motor product page)
- Shaft. 4 mm by T-Motor's table, with 8 mm of M5 thread; it stands 14.5 mm above the bell. (T-Motor drawing, specs and test report)
- Base. Black, with four M3 holes, opposite holes 19 mm apart; 18 AWG leads, 250 mm long. (T-Motor product page, T-Motor drawing, specs and test report)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 1155KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 17,094 | 1,994 Hz | 11,966 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 19,404 | 2,264 Hz | 13,583 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 25,641 | 2,991 Hz | 17,949 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 29,106 | 3,396 Hz | 20,374 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes: the 28 × 12 mm stator, 33.4 mm bell, 26.5 mm height, 19 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything T-Motor doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
