5-inch FPV freestyle motor
T-Motor Slattfpv 2306.3
T-Motor's 2306.3 made with the freestyle pilot SlattFPV for flow and bando flying, in 1700KV for 6S and 2500KV for 4S; the 1700KV pulls 1681 g at full throttle on T-Motor's 6S bench with a Gemfan F3-3.
- 5-inch freestyle, flow and bando
- 6S (1700KV) or 4S (2500KV)
- 5-inch tri-blades
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 2306.3 motor drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are T-Motor’s bench figures for the GF F3-3 prop at 25.2 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 20% throttle.

- 1,681 g
- GF F3-3 prop, 25.2 V
- Weight
- 34.1 g
- with leads; 33.8 g for 2500KV

What it pulls
T-Motor’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the GF F3-3: 813 g of thrust, 11.6 A, 290 W, 2.80 g per watt.
On your quad
10.3 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 6,722 g with the GF F3-3 at 25.2 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 3,250 g, 5.0 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. One piece (Unibell), thickened, 28.6 mm across, with ten heart-shaped windows in the top; grey or pink. (T-Motor product page, T-Motor drawing, specs and test report)
- Shaft. 4 mm by T-Motor's table, standing 12 mm above the bell with 7 mm of thread. (T-Motor drawing, specs and test report)
- Base. Four M3 holes on a 16 mm circle; 20 AWG leads, 150 mm long. (T-Motor drawing, specs and test report)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 1700KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 25,160 | 2,935 Hz | 17,612 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 28,560 | 3,332 Hz | 19,992 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 37,740 | 4,403 Hz | 26,418 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 42,840 | 4,998 Hz | 29,988 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes: the 23 × 6.3 mm stator, 28.6 mm bell, 18.3 mm height, 16 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything T-Motor doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
