1S tiny whoop motor

T-Motor M0803

T-Motor's 0803 for 65–75 mm 1S whoops, in 19000KV and 22000KV, with a one-piece bell and N52 arc magnets; the 22000KV pulls 42.5 g on a 35 mm Gemfan quad-blade at full throttle on T-Motor's 1S bench.

Drawing the 3D model…

The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 0803 motor drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are T-Motor’s bench figures for the GF35mm-4 prop at 4.18 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 50% throttle.

At 60% with the GF35mm-4: 25 g of thrust, 3.2 A, 13 W, 1.92 g per watt.

On your quad

0.3 : 1

Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 170 g with the GF35mm-4 at 4.18 V.

At 60% throttle they pull 102 g, 0.2 times the quad’s weight.

All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.

What to pair it with

Our reading of T-Motor’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.

ESC
Peak current over 60 s is 5.46 A for the 22000KV. Ligpower pairs it with T-Motor's F411 AIO 1S 13A or 6A boards. (T-Motor drawing, specs and test report, Ligpower 22000KV page)
Props
On the 1S bench at full throttle the 22000KV pulled 35.1 g on Gemfan's GF1219-3, 31.4 g on the GF1220-4, 41.4 g on a 35 mm tri-blade and 42.5 g on a 35 mm quad-blade. (T-Motor drawing, specs and test report)
Frame
65–75 mm whoops, per T-Motor. Three M1.4 holes on a 6.6 mm circle. (T-Motor 19000KV page, T-Motor drawing, specs and test report)

Bench data

Redrawn from T-Motor’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor

A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:

How fast it spins

KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 22000KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.

BatteryVoltsNo-load rpm (KV × V)Electrical frequencyESC steps per second
4S nominal14.8325,60032,560 Hz195,360
4S full16.8369,60036,960 Hz221,760
6S nominal22.2488,40048,840 Hz293,040
6S full25.2554,40055,440 Hz332,640

A 12-pole rotor has 6 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 6 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 36 times per turn.

About the 3D model

A generic outrunner drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes: the 8 × 3 mm stator, 10.6 mm bell, 9.8 mm height, 1 mm shaft, 6.6 mm mounting circle and 9 teeth and 12 magnets. Anything T-Motor doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
