Drawing the 3D model…

The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 0802 motor drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are T-Motor’s bench figures for the M12199 prop at 4.2 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 50% throttle.

At 60% with the M12199: 25 g of thrust, 2.1 A, 9 W, 2.82 g per watt.

On your quad

0.2 : 1

Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 154 g with the M12199 at 4.2 V.

At 60% throttle they pull 99 g, 0.2 times the quad’s weight.

All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.

What to pair it with

Our reading of T-Motor’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.

ESC
Peak current over 10 s is 4.4 A (22000KV), 5.39 A (25000KV) and 5.65 A (27000KV), so a 1S AIO rated for 6 A or more per motor covers all three. (T-Motor 22000KV specs and test, T-Motor 25000KV specs and test, T-Motor 27000KV specs and test)
Props
T-Motor recommends 31–35 mm whoop props. At full throttle the 25000KV pulls 38.6 g on both T-Motor's M12199 and Gemfan's 35 mm three-blade. (T-Hobby 22000KV page, T-Motor 25000KV specs and test)
Frame
65–75 mm micro whoops. The base takes three M1.4 screws on a 6.6 mm circle. (T-Hobby 22000KV page, T-Motor 25000KV specs and test)

Bench data

Redrawn from T-Motor’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor

A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:

How fast it spins

KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 25000KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.

BatteryVoltsNo-load rpm (KV × V)Electrical frequencyESC steps per second
4S nominal14.8370,00037,000 Hz222,000
4S full16.8420,00042,000 Hz252,000
6S nominal22.2555,00055,500 Hz333,000
6S full25.2630,00063,000 Hz378,000

A 12-pole rotor has 6 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 6 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 36 times per turn.

About the 3D model

A generic outrunner drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes: the 8 × 2 mm stator, 10.6 mm bell, 7.2 mm height, 1 mm shaft, 6.6 mm mounting circle and 9 teeth and 12 magnets. Anything T-Motor doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
