5–6-inch FPV long-range, freestyle and racing motor
T-Motor F80 Pro 2408
T-Motor's 2408 for 5- and 6-inch long-range, freestyle and racing quads, in 1900KV, 2200KV and 2500KV; on T-Motor's bench the 1900KV pulls 2115 g at full throttle on a 5055 tri-blade at about 23 V.
- 5–6-inch long range (1900KV, 2200KV)
- 5-inch freestyle and racing (2500KV)
- 3S–6S, by KV
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 2408 motor drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are T-Motor’s bench figures for the 5055 prop at 23.89 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 50% throttle.

- 2,115 g
- 5055 prop, 23.89 V
- Weight

What it pulls
T-Motor’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the 5055: 1,042 g of thrust, 16.6 A, 395 W, 2.64 g per watt.
On your quad
13.0 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 8,459 g with the 5055 at 23.89 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 4,168 g, 6.4 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.
What you get for $25.90
About 2.1 kg on 6S
At full throttle the 1900KV pulled 2115 g at 49.2 A from about 22.8 V on a 5055 tri-blade.

Three windings
1900KV and 2200KV, which T-Motor pitches for efficient long range, and 2500KV for freestyle and racing.
240 °C silver winding
T-Motor says the high-temperature silver winding raises thermal endurance by 33% and keeps the motor stable at high power.

Titanium shaft, anti-slip hub
T-Motor says the titanium-alloy shaft resists impacts, and the knurled hub keeps the prop from slipping.

What to pair it with
Our reading of T-Motor’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.
- ESC
- Peak current is 49.2 A for the 1900KV, 49.4 A for the 2200KV and 47.6 A for the 2500KV. T-Motor's full-throttle results were taken with its F45A ESC; T-Hobby and Ligpower pair it with the F55A PRO II 4-in-1. (T-Motor drawing and specs, T-Motor product page, T-Hobby product page, Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)
- Props
- T-Motor benched it on 5055 tri-blades and 6040 two-blades: at full throttle the 2200KV pulled 1868 g and 2037 g on them at about 18.8 V. Ligpower suggests T-Motor's T5143S; T-Hobby says 5–6-inch props. (T-Motor test report, Ligpower (T-Motor) product page, T-Hobby product page)
- Battery
- 3S–6S for the 1900KV, 3S–5S for the 2200KV, 3S–4S for the 2500KV. T-Hobby suggests a 4S 1550 mAh or 6S 1300 mAh 120C pack, for a take-off weight of about 600–620 g. (T-Motor drawing and specs, T-Hobby product page)
- Frame
- 5–6-inch quads, per T-Hobby; T-Motor says it suits big frames such as 300 mm. Four M3 holes on a 16 mm circle. (T-Hobby product page, T-Motor product page, T-Motor drawing and specs)

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. 29 mm across, dark grey, with five slotted spokes whose cut edges show silver, round a knurled hub. (T-Motor drawing and specs, T-Motor product page)
- Shaft. Titanium alloy, 4 mm in the spec tables, standing 14.3 mm above the bell. (T-Motor drawing and specs, T-Motor product page)
- Winding. Silver wire that T-Motor rates to 240 °C. (T-Motor product page)
- Base. Dark grey, with four M3 holes on a 16 mm circle; 20 AWG leads, 150 mm long. (T-Motor drawing and specs, T-Motor product page)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 1900KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 28,120 | 3,281 Hz | 19,684 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 31,920 | 3,724 Hz | 22,344 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 42,180 | 4,921 Hz | 29,526 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 47,880 | 5,586 Hz | 33,516 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes: the 24 × 8 mm stator, 29 mm bell, 18.8 mm height, 16 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything T-Motor doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
