7- to 8-inch long-range and cinelifter motor

T-Motor F100 2810

T-Motor's 2810 for 7- to 8-inch X8 cinelifters and long-range frames; on its 6S bench the 1350KV pulls 2565 g at full throttle on a GF7040-3, and the 1100KV 2597 g on an HQ8045-3.

Drawing the 3D model…

The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 2810 motor drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are T-Motor’s bench figures for the GF7040-3 prop at 25.2 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 30% throttle.

Version

Benched at about 25 V on the GF7040-3 and at about 21 V (5S) on the HQ8045-3.

At 60% with the GF7040-3: 1,262 g of thrust, 15.5 A, 385 W, 3.28 g per watt.

On your quad

15.8 : 1

Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 10,259 g with the GF7040-3 at 25.2 V.

At 60% throttle they pull 5,049 g, 7.8 times the quad’s weight.

All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.

What you get for $35.90

  • About 2.5 kg per motor

    At full throttle on T-Motor's 6S bench the 1350KV pulled 2565 g on a GF7040-3 and the 1100KV 2597 g on an HQ8045-3. T-Motor's headline 2467 g is the 1350KV on the HQ8045-3 at 5S.

  • Wound by hand

T-Motor winds the stator by hand and says this makes the motor 5% more stable and 6.5% more efficient.

  • One-piece bell

A Unibell structure, which T-Motor says improves both safety and looks.

  • Made for X8 cinelifters

    T-Motor designed it for 7- to 8-inch X8 cinelifter builds; T-Hobby also lists 7- to 9-inch long-range frames and a take-off weight of 3400 g.

What to pair it with

Our reading of T-Motor’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.

ESC
Peak current over 60 s is 61.65 A for the 1350KV and 45.59 A for the 1100KV, whose own bench run reached 48.59 A. T-Hobby recommends a 6S ESC; the 1350KV needs one rated for over 60 A. (T-Motor test report, T-Motor drawing and specs, T-Hobby product page)
Props
7- to 8-inch props, per T-Hobby. T-Motor benched it on Gemfan's GF7040-3 and HQProp's HQ8045-3; on 6S the 1100KV pulled 2034 g and 2597 g at full throttle on them. (T-Hobby product page, T-Motor test report)
Battery
6S for the 1100KV, 5S–6S for the 1350KV. T-Hobby suggests a 6S 5200 mAh 75C pack. (T-Motor drawing and specs, T-Motor test report, T-Hobby product page)
Frame
7- to 8-inch X8 frames or 7- to 9-inch long-range frames, per T-Hobby. Four M3 holes on a 19 mm circle. (T-Hobby product page, T-Motor drawing and specs)

Inside the motor

A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:

How fast it spins

KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 1350KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.

BatteryVoltsNo-load rpm (KV × V)Electrical frequencyESC steps per second
4S nominal14.819,9802,331 Hz13,986
4S full16.822,6802,646 Hz15,876
6S nominal22.229,9703,497 Hz20,979
6S full25.234,0203,969 Hz23,814

A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.

About the 3D model

A generic outrunner drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes: the 28 × 10 mm stator, 33.4 mm bell, 24.05 mm height, 19 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything T-Motor doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
