7-inch high-speed FPV motor
T-Motor 2816SE
T-Motor's 2816 for high-speed builds, in 1100KV for 8S and an 800KV that T-Motor runs on 12S; at full throttle on its bench the 800KV pulls 5670 g on a T-Hobby Cine75 at about 47 V and the 1100KV 5210 g at about 34 V.
- 7-inch high-speed (speed-run) quads
- 8S (1100KV) or 12S (800KV, in T-Motor's setup)
- 7 × 13 two-blade high-speed props
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 2816 motor drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are T-Motor’s bench figures for the Cine75 prop at 35 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 20% throttle.

What it pulls
T-Motor’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the Cine75: 2,580 g of thrust, 25.7 A, 0 W, 2.90 g per watt.
On your quad
32.1 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 20,840 g with the Cine75 at 35 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 10,320 g, 15.9 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.

Flight-tested to 480 km/h
T-Motor says a 2816 SE 800KV 12S power system reached 480 km/h with a 3300 mAh 12S 95C pack and a range of 10 km or more, and 440 km/h carrying 500 g.

Up to 5670 g on the bench
At full throttle on a T-Hobby Cine75 the 800KV pulled 5670 g at 67.6 A from about 46.7 V, and the 1100KV 5210 g at 81.1 A from about 33.5 V.

What to pair it with
Our reading of T-Motor’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.
- ESC
- Peak current is 110 A for the 1100KV and 92 A for the 800KV. T-Motor's pictures pair the 1100KV with its C80A 8S 4-in-1 and the 800KV with its C80A 5–12S (its setup table names a V90A 12S), and the page lists AM32 and BLHeli_32 settings. (Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)
- Props
- 7 × 13 two-blade props in T-Motor's setups. On the static bench at 35 V that prop drew 105.4 A for 1650 g on the 1100KV at full throttle; T-Hobby's Cine75 pulled 5210 g. (Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)
- Battery
- 8S for the 1100KV, per T-Hobby; 12S for the 800KV in T-Motor's setup, though its spec table rates both 6S–8S. The 480 km/h test used a 3300 mAh 12S 95C pack. (T-Hobby product page, Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)
- Frame
- A low-drag, rocket-style 7-inch X4 within 2 kg, 2.5 kg at most, per T-Motor. Four M3 holes on a 19 mm circle. (Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)

Bench data
Redrawn from T-Motor’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. 33.4 mm across, black, with four spokes in the top round a knurled hub. (T-Motor drawing, Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)
- Shaft. 4 mm by T-Motor's table, with an M5 thread, running 17 mm beyond the toothed prop seat. (Ligpower (T-Motor) product page, T-Motor drawing)
- Bearings. 694-ZZ ball bearings, which T-Motor says are imported. (Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)
- Base. Black, a 3.2 mm plate with four M3 holes on a 19 mm circle; 18 AWG PTFE-insulated leads, 150 mm long. (T-Motor drawing, Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 1100KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 16,280 | 1,899 Hz | 11,396 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 18,480 | 2,156 Hz | 12,936 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 24,420 | 2,849 Hz | 17,094 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 27,720 | 3,234 Hz | 19,404 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes: the 28 × 16 mm stator, 33.4 mm bell, 33.9 mm height, 19 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything T-Motor doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
