7-inch high-speed FPV motor
T-Motor 2814SE
T-Motor's 2814 for 8S speed builds: 1100KV, 86 g, rated 6S–8S. T-Motor says an 8S power system with it was flight-tested to 420 km/h, and on its bench it pulls 4930 g on a T-Hobby Cine75 at about 35 V.
- 7-inch high-speed (speed-run) quads
- 8S (rated 6S–8S)
- 7 × 13 two-blade high-speed props
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 2814 motor drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are T-Motor’s bench figures for the Cine75 prop at 35 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 20% throttle.

What it pulls
T-Motor’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the Cine75: 2,660 g of thrust, 27.9 A, 0 W, 2.77 g per watt.
On your quad
30.3 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 19,720 g with the Cine75 at 35 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 10,640 g, 16.4 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.

What to pair it with
Our reading of T-Motor’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.
- ESC
- Peak current is 105 A. T-Motor pairs it with an 8S 4-in-1 (its V90A in the setup table, its C80A in the power-system picture) and lists AM32 and BLHeli_32 settings for it. (Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)
- Props
- 7 × 13 two-blade props in T-Motor's setup. On the static bench at 35 V that prop drew 98.6 A for 1370 g at full throttle; T-Hobby's Cine75 pulled 4930 g. (Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)
- Battery
- 8S in T-Motor's setup (rated 6S–8S); its speed test used a 3300 mAh 8S 95C pack. (Ligpower (T-Motor) product page, T-Hobby product page)
- Frame
- A low-drag, rocket-style 7-inch X4 under 2 kg, 2.5 kg at most, per T-Motor. Four M3 holes on a 19 mm circle. (Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. 33.4 mm across, black, with four spokes in the top round a knurled hub. (T-Motor drawing, Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)
- Shaft. 5 mm by T-Motor's table, with an M5 thread, running 17 mm beyond the toothed prop seat. (Ligpower (T-Motor) product page, T-Motor drawing)
- Bearings. 694-ZZ ball bearings, which T-Motor says are imported. (Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)
- Base. Black, a 3.2 mm plate with four M3 holes on a 19 mm circle; 18 AWG PTFE-insulated leads, 150 mm long. (T-Motor drawing, Ligpower (T-Motor) product page)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 1100KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 16,280 | 1,899 Hz | 11,396 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 18,480 | 2,156 Hz | 12,936 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 24,420 | 2,849 Hz | 17,094 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 27,720 | 3,234 Hz | 19,404 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from T-Motor’s published sizes: the 28 × 14 mm stator, 33.4 mm bell, 31.9 mm height, 5 mm shaft, 19 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything T-Motor doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
