3- to 3.6-inch FPV motor
SpeedyBee 1507
A 4S motor for 3 to 3.6-inch quads at 3600KV: 15.2 g with leads, props bolted to the top, and up to 707 g of thrust per motor on SpeedyBee's own bench (GF 3630-3 prop).
- 3 to 3.6-inch quads such as SpeedyBee's Master 3X
- 4S
- Bolt-on props like the GF 3630-3 and HQ 3.5 × 3 × 3 SpeedyBee tested
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 1507 motor drawn from SpeedyBee’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are SpeedyBee’s bench figures for the GF 3630-3 prop at 16.05 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 30% throttle.

What it pulls
SpeedyBee’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the GF 3630-3: 354 g of thrust, 7.6 A, 121 W, 2.92 g per watt.
On your quad
4.3 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 2,826 g with the GF 3630-3 at 16.05 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 1,418 g, 2.2 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.
What you get for $14.99
707 g of thrust on 4S
On SpeedyBee's bench it pulled 706.6 g at full throttle on a GF 3630-3, drawing 23.73 A (374 W) at 15.76 V.

What to pair it with
Our reading of SpeedyBee’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.
- ESC
- SpeedyBee gives 23.73 A as the maximum current, the top of its own 4S bench (GF 3630-3); a 25 A or larger ESC covers it. (SpeedyBee specs and test data)
- Props
- SpeedyBee tested two props on 4S: the GF 3630-3 (706.6 g at full throttle; it logged 67.4 °C inside the motor) and the HQ 3.5 × 3 × 3 (671.5 g at 20.18 A; 46.3 °C), both at 28.9 °C ambient. (SpeedyBee specs and test data)
- Battery
- 4S, the only voltage SpeedyBee lists. (SpeedyBee specs and test data)
- Frame
- Four M2 holes on a 12 mm circle. M2 screws in 6, 7 and 10 mm lengths come in the box. (SpeedyBee drawing)

Bench data
Redrawn from SpeedyBee’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Top. Six spokes from a hexagonal hub, each forking in a Y near the rim; the hub carries the four M2 prop holes round the shaft (drawing and photos). (SpeedyBee drawing, SpeedyBee product photo)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 3600KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 53,280 | 6,216 Hz | 37,296 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 60,480 | 7,056 Hz | 42,336 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 79,920 | 9,324 Hz | 55,944 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 90,720 | 10,584 Hz | 63,504 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from SpeedyBee’s published sizes: the 15 × 7 mm stator, 19 mm bell, 15.8 mm height, 1.5 mm shaft, 12 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything SpeedyBee doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
