2–3-inch toothpick FPV motor
RCinPower GTS V3 1303 Plus
A 5.6 g 1303 for 2- to 3-inch toothpicks, in 6000KV, 8000KV and 11500KV; on 2S the 11500KV pulled 382 g on a Gemfan 2540 three-blade and 396 g on a Gemfan 3018 two-blade at full throttle.
- 2- to 3-inch toothpicks
- 2S–3S (8000KV), 2S–4S (6000KV); 11500KV tested on 1S–2S
- 2- to 3-inch props
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 1303 motor drawn from RCinPower’s published sizes, not its exact design. No-load speed is KV × 11.1 V, a nominal pack for this version. RCinPower publishes no bench data for it.
- Weight
- 5.6 g

What to pair it with
Our reading of RCinPower’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.
- ESC
- RCinPower rates the 6000KV at 16.9 A, the 8000KV at 22.5 A and the 11500KV at 30.1 A (its 3S figures); on 2S the 11500KV drew up to 29.1 A on the Gemfan 3018 two-blade. An ESC rated for 25 A per motor covers the 8000KV; the 11500KV needs 35 A. (RCinPower 6000KV sheet, RCinPower 8000KV and 11500KV sheets)
- Props
- RCinPower's sheets list Gemfan 2020 and D51 ducted four-blades, Gemfan 2540 and 3016 and DALProp 3018 and 3028 three-blades, and a Gemfan 3018 two-blade. On 2S at full throttle the 11500KV pulled 382 g on the Gemfan 2540 (77 °C) and 396 g on the 3018 two-blade (82 °C). (RCinPower 6000KV sheet, RCinPower 8000KV and 11500KV sheets)
- Battery
- 2S–3S for the 8000KV and 2S–4S for the 6000KV; RCinPower's table gives 2S–4S for the 11500KV but tested it on 1S and 2S. (RCinPower 6000KV sheet, RCinPower 8000KV and 11500KV sheets)
- Frame
- Four M2 screws, opposite holes 9 mm apart. (RCinPower 8000KV and 11500KV sheets, RCinPower 8000KV sheet (mirror))

Bench data
Redrawn from RCinPower’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Shaft. 1.5 mm; the prop bolts to the bell's hub with four M2 screws, opposite holes 5 mm apart. (RCinPower 8000KV and 11500KV sheets, RCinPower 8000KV sheet (mirror))
- Stator. The coils are wound on a stack of thin steel laminations: 13 × 3.2 mm (RCinPower names the motor 1303; its spec tables give a 3.2 mm stator height). (RCinPower 8000KV and 11500KV sheets)
- Base. 4 × M2 holes, opposite holes 9 mm apart (9 × 9). (RCinPower 8000KV and 11500KV sheets, RCinPower 8000KV sheet (mirror))
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 8000KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 118,400 | 13,813 Hz | 82,880 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 134,400 | 15,680 Hz | 94,080 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 177,600 | 20,720 Hz | 124,320 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 201,600 | 23,520 Hz | 141,120 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from RCinPower’s published sizes: the 13 × 3.2 mm stator, 16.5 mm bell, 10.1 mm height, 1.5 mm shaft, 9 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything RCinPower doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
