1S tiny whoop motor
RCinPower GTS V3 0802
A 1.97 g motor for 1S whoops: an 8 × 2 mm stator on two ball bearings and a hardened 1 mm shaft, pulling 51 g per motor on RCinPower's 3.7 V bench (25000KV, Gemfan 1636 four-blade).
- 1S brushless tiny whoops
- 31 mm and 40 mm props
- 1S (22000KV–27000KV) or 2S (10000KV)
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 0802 motor drawn from RCinPower’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are RCinPower’s bench figures for the Gemfan 1636 prop at 3.7 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 50% throttle.

What it pulls
RCinPower’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the Gemfan 1636: 33 g of thrust, 3.0 A, 11 W, 3.31 g per watt.
On your quad
0.3 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 204 g with the Gemfan 1636 at 3.7 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 130 g, 0.2 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.
What you get
Two ball bearings
RCinPower uses two bearings instead of the oil-impregnated bushing of many 0802 motors, and claims longer life, quicker low-speed response and less heat.

Hardened 1 mm shaft
Made to fit props from any brand with a close fit, RCinPower says.

Leads on a PCB pad
The leads are soldered to a PCB pad so vibration and bending during builds don't break them at the stator. A 1.25 mm plug is fitted, for most whoop flight controllers.

- ESC
- On RCinPower's 3.7 V bench the 1S versions peak at 5.6 A (22000KV), 6.5 A (25000KV) and 7.2 A (27000KV), all with the Gemfan 1636 four-blade. (RCinPower 10000KV and 22000KV sheets, RCinPower 25000KV and 27000KV sheets)

Bench data

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Shaft. 1 mm, hardened, protrudes 4.2 mm; 1.5 mm inside the motor ("hardened" from the page's text (S1)). (RCinPower 25000KV and 27000KV sheets)
- Stator. The coils are wound on a stack of thin steel laminations: 8 × 2 mm (0802). (RCinPower 25000KV and 27000KV sheets)
- Bearings. two ball bearings (no oil-impregnated bushing). (RCinPower product page)
- Base. M1.4 holes on a 6.6 mm circle (the drawing is labelled 4 × M1.4, but its base view and the photos show three holes on a three-armed base). (RCinPower 25000KV and 27000KV sheets)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 25000KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 370,000 | 37,000 Hz | 222,000 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 420,000 | 42,000 Hz | 252,000 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 555,000 | 55,500 Hz | 333,000 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 630,000 | 63,000 Hz | 378,000 |
A 12-pole rotor has 6 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 6 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 36 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from RCinPower’s published sizes: the 8 × 2 mm stator, 11.2 mm bell, 8.2 mm height, 1 mm shaft, 6.6 mm mounting circle and 9 teeth and 12 magnets. Anything RCinPower doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
