1S tiny whoop motor
RCinPower GTS V3 0703
A 1.85 g 0703 RCinPower made for small indoor racing quads on 1S; at 4.2 V the 23000KV pulled 37–43 g per motor at full throttle on five whoop props, the 27000KV 42–49 g.
- 1S tiny whoops and small indoor racers
- 1S (23000KV, 27000KV)
- 31 mm (1.2-inch) to 40 mm props
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 0703 motor drawn from RCinPower’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are RCinPower’s bench figures for the Gemfan 35 mm, 4-blade prop at 4.2 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 50% throttle.

What it pulls
RCinPower’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the Gemfan 35 mm, 4-blade: 34 g of thrust, 3.9 A, 16 W, 2.09 g per watt.
On your quad
0.3 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 172 g with the Gemfan 35 mm, 4-blade at 4.2 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 137 g, 0.2 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.

For small indoor racers
RCinPower made the GTS V3 0703 in 2024 for small indoor FPV racing quads and recommends 1.2-inch props.

Two bearings, one-piece housing
RCinPower says the one-piece housing is strong and durable, and that the two bearings give a longer life and steadier running.

Leads on a PCB, 1.25 mm plug
The leads are soldered to a PCB, which RCinPower says makes them durable and easy to repair, and a 1.25 mm plug fits most AIO boards.

What to pair it with
Our reading of RCinPower’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.
- ESC
- On RCinPower's 4.2 V bench the 23000KV peaked at 5.9 A and the 27000KV at 6.8 A, both on the Gemfan 1635; RCinPower rates them the same. A whoop AIO rated for at least 7 A per motor covers both. (RCinPower spec sheets)
- Props
- At full throttle the 35 mm props pulled as much as the 40 mm Gemfan 1635 on less current, and the 35 mm four-blade was the most efficient at 50% throttle. The 1635 ran hottest (76 °C on the 23000KV, 79 °C on the 27000KV). (RCinPower spec sheets)
- Battery
- 1S for both KVs; RCinPower tested them at 4.2 V. (RCinPower spec sheets)
- Frame
- Three M1.4 screws on a 6.6 mm circle. (RCinPower spec sheets)

Bench data
Redrawn from RCinPower’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bearings. Two bearings in a one-piece housing. (RCinPower photos and text)
- Leads. Soldered to a PCB at the base, with a 1.25 mm plug. (RCinPower photos and text, RCinPower photos 2)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 23000KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 340,400 | 34,040 Hz | 204,240 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 386,400 | 38,640 Hz | 231,840 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 510,600 | 51,060 Hz | 306,360 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 579,600 | 57,960 Hz | 347,760 |
A 12-pole rotor has 6 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 6 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 36 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from RCinPower’s published sizes: the 7 × 3 mm stator, 9.6 mm bell, 9.3 mm height, 1 mm shaft, 6.6 mm mounting circle and 9 teeth and 12 magnets. Anything RCinPower doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
