5-inch FPV racing motor
RCinPower GTS V2 2207 Plus
A 31.5 g 2207 that RCinPower made for 6S racing, in 1860KV for 5S–6S and 2500KV and 2750KV for 4S–5S; on 4S the 2750KV pulled 1,654–2,008 g per motor at full throttle on four 5- and 6-inch props.
- 5-inch racing
- 5S–6S (1860KV) or 4S–5S (2500KV, 2750KV)
- 5-inch three-blades; also tested on a Gemfan 6 × 4.5
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 2207 motor drawn from RCinPower’s published sizes, not its exact design. No-load speed is KV × 22.2 V, a nominal pack for this version. RCinPower publishes no bench data for it.
- Weight
- 31.5 g
- with 3 cm leads, all three KVs; RCinPower's feature text gives 30.95 g without leads, and its scale photo shows 30.48 g (S6)

Made for 6S racing
RCinPower says it refined the one-piece rotor with top racing pilots for 6S racing and redesigned the stator and magnetic circuit for 6S.

Shaft held by an M3 screw
A one-piece TC4-Pro shaft that RCinPower says is lighter and stronger than the GTS V2 2306's, held in the base by an M3 screw that it says makes cleaning easier.

Bearing protection
A stainless steel shim (A.I.P) that RCinPower says takes axial impacts off the bearing, and a polymer damping ring (second-generation B.F.P) that it says absorbs the rotor's high-frequency vibration before it reaches the gyro.

260-class windings
Single-strand, single-crystal oxygen-free copper wire of a 260-class high-temperature grade.

What to pair it with
Our reading of RCinPower’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.
- ESC
- RCinPower rates the 1860KV at 40 A and the 2500KV and 2750KV at 45 A, for 30 s. On its bench the 2500KV drew up to 46.7 A on 5S (Gemfan 5 × 5.1 × 3) and the 2750KV up to 45.9 A on 4S (Gemfan 6 × 4.5). An ESC rated for at least 40 A per motor covers the 1860KV; the 2500KV and 2750KV need 50 A. (RCinPower 1860KV sheet, RCinPower 2500KV sheet, RCinPower 2750KV sheet)
- Props
- On the 2750KV at 16 V the Gemfan 5 × 4 × 3 was the most efficient at full throttle (3.121 g/W), the 5 × 5.1 × 3 drew more current than the 5 × 4.5 × 3 bullnose for less thrust, and the Gemfan 6 × 4.5 pulled the most, 2,008 g. (RCinPower 2750KV sheet)
- Battery
- 5S–6S for the 1860KV; 4S–5S for the 2500KV and 2750KV. (RCinPower 1860KV sheet, RCinPower 2500KV sheet, RCinPower 2750KV sheet)
- Frame
- Four M3 screws, opposite holes 16 mm apart. (RCinPower 1860KV sheet)

Bench data
Redrawn from RCinPower’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Shaft. One-piece 4 mm hollow shaft of RCinPower's TC4-Pro alloy, held in the base by an M3 screw. (RCinPower features 1)
- Bearings. A stainless steel shim (A.I.P) against axial impacts and a polymer damping ring (B.F.P) against vibration. (RCinPower features 1)
- Windings. Single-strand, single-crystal oxygen-free copper, 260-class high-temperature wire. (RCinPower features 2)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 1860KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 27,528 | 3,212 Hz | 19,270 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 31,248 | 3,646 Hz | 21,874 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 41,292 | 4,817 Hz | 28,904 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 46,872 | 5,468 Hz | 32,810 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from RCinPower’s published sizes: the 22 × 7.5 mm stator, 27.7 mm bell, 18.25 mm height, 5 mm shaft, 16 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything RCinPower doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
