4-inch and light 5-inch FPV motor
NewBeeDrone FLOW 2004
A 16.8 g T-mount motor for 4-inch and light 5-inch builds, in four KVs from 1750KV (6S) to 3100KV (4S); on a Gemfan 5125 NewBeeDrone measured 943 g (1750KV, 24 V) and 926 g (2450KV, 16 V).
- 4-inch and light 5-inch quads
- 6S (1750KV, 2000KV) or 4S (2450KV, 3100KV)
- T-mount props
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 2004 motor drawn from NewBeeDrone’s published sizes, not its exact design. No-load speed is KV × 22.2 V, a nominal pack for this version. NewBeeDrone publishes no bench data for it.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. NewBeeDrone lists 7075 aluminium alloy. The finish is a dark bronze, and the top has six spokes. (NewBeeDrone product photos)
- Magnets. N52H magnets. (NewBeeDrone product page)
- Stator. 20 mm across and 4 mm tall, stacked from 0.15 mm silicon steel sheets. (NewBeeDrone product page)
- Bearings. NSK or NMB 730ZZ ball bearings. (NewBeeDrone product page)
- Leads. 24 AWG silicone wires. (NewBeeDrone product page)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 2000KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 29,600 | 3,453 Hz | 20,720 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 33,600 | 3,920 Hz | 23,520 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 44,400 | 5,180 Hz | 31,080 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 50,400 | 5,880 Hz | 35,280 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from NewBeeDrone’s published sizes: the 20 × 4 mm stator and 12 mm mounting circle. Anything NewBeeDrone doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
