5-inch FPV freestyle and racing motor
Mad Components KONKER Clear Sky 2207.5
A 34 g 5-inch motor for 6S freestyle and racing, 1960KV or 2100KV, pulling up to 1,826 g (1960KV) and 1,853 g (2100KV) per motor on MAD's own bench.
- 5-inch freestyle and racing
- 6S (MAD's bench tables); the page says 4S–6S builds
- 5-inch three-blade props like the GF 51466-3 MAD recommends
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 2207.5 motor drawn from Mad Components’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are Mad Components’s bench figures for the GF 51433-3 prop at 24.54 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 10% throttle.
- Max thrust
- 1,826 g
- GF 51433-3 prop, 24.54 V
- Weight
- 34 g
- both KVs; the page's text gives 47 g, which MAD's table lists as the boxed weight

What it pulls
Mad Components’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the GF 51433-3: 852 g of thrust, 12.2 A, 293 W, 2.90 g per watt.
On your quad
11.2 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 7,304 g with the GF 51433-3 at 24.54 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 3,408 g, 5.2 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.
What you get for $19.90
About 1.8 kg of thrust on 6S
On MAD's bench the 1960KV pulled 1,826 g at full throttle on a GF 51433-3 (40.3 A, 948 W); the 2100KV pulled 1,853 g on a GF 51466-3 (42.4 A, 998 W).

Bench data
Redrawn from Mad Components’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. One-piece (unibody) bell; MAD gives the rotor balance as 5 mg or less. (MAD product page, MAD motor data)
- Shaft. Titanium alloy with hexagonal reinforcing ribs. (MAD product page)
- Magnets. N52 arc-shaped segments. (MAD product page)
- Winding. OFSC copper wire with a high slot fill. (MAD product page)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 1960KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 29,008 | 3,384 Hz | 20,306 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 32,928 | 3,842 Hz | 23,050 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 43,512 | 5,076 Hz | 30,458 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 49,392 | 5,762 Hz | 34,574 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from Mad Components’s published sizes: the 22 × 7.5 mm stator, 28 mm bell, 19.6 mm height, 4 mm shaft, 16 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything Mad Components doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
