7-inch long-range FPV motor
Lumenier ZIP V2 2807
A 45 g 2807 in matte black for cinematic and long-range builds: 12N14P, N52H magnets, a hollow titanium-alloy shaft and NMB bearings, rated 3S–8S (6S most common), in 1300KV, 1700KV and 1950KV.
- 7-inch long range
- Cinematic builds
- 6S (rated 3S–8S)
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 2807 motor drawn from Lumenier’s published sizes, not its exact design. No-load speed is KV × 29.6 V, a nominal pack for this version. Lumenier publishes no bench data for it.

Hollow titanium shaft
The hollow titanium-alloy shaft takes a regular prop nut; Lumenier says its threads won't strip, and a screw holds it in for easy maintenance.

Matte black
Lumenier's Cinematic Series motors are all black so they don't draw attention in shots.

45 g
Lumenier lists 45 g per motor with short wires; 20 cm extension wires come in the box.

Balanced at the factory
Lumenier says each motor is dynamically balanced and tested before it ships.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Shaft. Hollow titanium alloy, 5 mm at the prop, threaded for a prop nut; inner shaft 4.8 mm; held in by a screw. (Lumenier product page)
- Bell. 7075 aluminium bell and base, anodised matte black. (Lumenier product page)
- Magnets. N52H curved magnets. (Lumenier product page)
- Stator. The coils are wound on a stack of thin steel laminations: 28 × 7 mm (2807), 0.2 mm Kawasaki silicon-steel laminations. (Lumenier product page)
- Bearings. Japanese NMB, 12 × 6 × 4 mm. (Lumenier product page)
- Base. 19 × 19 mm, M3. (Lumenier product page)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 1300KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 19,240 | 2,245 Hz | 13,468 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 21,840 | 2,548 Hz | 15,288 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 28,860 | 3,367 Hz | 20,202 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 32,760 | 3,822 Hz | 22,932 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from Lumenier’s published sizes: the 28 × 7 mm stator, 33 mm bell, 19.5 mm height, 5 mm shaft, 19 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything Lumenier doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
