Cinewhoop motor
Lumenier ZIP V2 1404
An 8.3 g, all-black 1404 for micro cinematic builds: 9N12P, N52H arc magnets, NSK bearings, and a 1.5 mm shaft with a T-mount for micro props.
- Micro cinematic builds
- Micro props with a T-mount (M2, 5 mm)
- 9 × 9 mm M2 motor mounts
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 1404 motor drawn from Lumenier’s published sizes, not its exact design. No-load speed is KV × 22.2 V, a nominal pack for this version. Lumenier publishes no bench data for it.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Shaft. 1.5 mm, with a T-mount for props (M2 holes, 5 mm eye to eye). (Lumenier product page)
- Bell. Al 7075 bell cap and base casing, matte black. (Lumenier product page)
- Magnets. N52H arc magnets. (Lumenier product page)
- Stator. The coils are wound on a stack of thin steel laminations: 14 × 4 mm (1404), 0.15 mm Nippon silicon-steel laminations (the stator size is GetFPV's "Motor Stator Size: 1404"). (GetFPV (Lumenier) page)
- Bearings. Japanese NSK, 5 × 2 × 2.5 mm. (Lumenier product page)
- Base. 9 × 9 mm, M2. (Lumenier product page)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 2750KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 40,700 | 4,070 Hz | 24,420 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 46,200 | 4,620 Hz | 27,720 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 61,050 | 6,105 Hz | 36,630 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 69,300 | 6,930 Hz | 41,580 |
A 12-pole rotor has 6 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 6 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 36 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from Lumenier’s published sizes: the 14 × 4 mm stator, 1.5 mm shaft, 9 mm mounting circle and 9 teeth and 12 magnets. Anything Lumenier doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
