5-inch FPV freestyle and racing motor
Hypetrain REVO 5 2207
A 2207 motor Hypetrain pitches at both 5-inch freestyle and racing: 34 g, N52H curved magnets, 0.15 mm Kawasaki laminations, 1860KV for 6S (46 A max) or 2450KV for 4S (60 A max).
- 5-inch freestyle and racing
- 6S (1860KV) or 4S (2450KV)
- 16 × 16 mm M3 motor mounts
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 2207 motor drawn from Hypetrain’s published sizes, not its exact design. No-load speed is KV × 22.2 V, a nominal pack for this version. Hypetrain publishes no bench data for it.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. 7075-T6 aluminium alloy, φ27.3 mm; replacement bells are sold separately. (Hypetrain 1860KV page, Hypetrain replacement bell page)
- Shaft. Titanium alloy, φ4 mm. (Hypetrain 1860KV page)
- Magnets. N52H curved magnets. (Hypetrain 1860KV page)
- Stator. 2207, in 0.15 mm Kawasaki laminations. (Hypetrain 1860KV page)
- Bearings. Japanese ISC bearings. (Hypetrain 1860KV page)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 1860KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 27,528 | 3,212 Hz | 19,270 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 31,248 | 3,646 Hz | 21,874 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 41,292 | 4,817 Hz | 28,904 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 46,872 | 5,468 Hz | 32,810 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from Hypetrain’s published sizes: the 22 × 7 mm stator, 27.3 mm bell, 19.1 mm height and 16 mm mounting circle. Anything Hypetrain doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
