5-inch FPV racing motor
Hyperlite E-Series 2207.5
A 30.2 g 2207.5 racing motor for 4S–6S in six KVs from 1322KV to 2522KV, with N52H arc magnets, NMB 9 × 4 × 4 mm bearings, a stainless hollow shaft and an Al 7075 bell and base.
- 5-inch racing
- 4S–6S, from 1322KV to 2522KV
- 16 × 16 mm M3 motor mounts
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 2207.5 motor drawn from Hyperlite’s published sizes, not its exact design. No-load speed is KV × 22.2 V, a nominal pack for this version. Hyperlite publishes no bench data for it.

Team Edition parts, steel shaft
Pyrodrone says the E-Series uses the same materials as its Hyperlite Team Edition line, with a stainless steel hollow shaft in place of titanium alloy that it says adds less than 1 g.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Shaft. stainless steel, hollow; M5 prop thread. (Pyrodrone 1922KV page)
- Bell. Al 7075 bell cap and base casing. (Pyrodrone 1922KV page)
- Magnets. N52H arc magnets. (Pyrodrone 1922KV page)
- Stator. The coils are wound on a stack of thin steel laminations: 0.15 mm Nippon Steel silicon-steel laminations (sold as a 2207.5). (Pyrodrone 1922KV page)
- Bearings. Japanese NMB 9 × 4 × 4 mm. (Pyrodrone 1922KV page)
- Base. 16 × 16 mm, M3. (Pyrodrone 1922KV page)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 1922KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 28,446 | 3,319 Hz | 19,912 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 32,290 | 3,767 Hz | 22,603 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 42,668 | 4,978 Hz | 29,868 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 48,434 | 5,651 Hz | 33,904 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from Hyperlite’s published sizes: the 2207.5 stator, 16 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything Hyperlite doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
