1S tiny whoop motor
HappyModel SE0802
A 1.9 g motor for 1S–2S whoops: an 8 × 2 mm stator on a 1 mm shaft, two E-clips holding the bell on, and KVs matched to HappyModel's Mobula6 and Mobula7.
- Mobula6 (19000KV regular, 25000KV race)
- Mobula7 (16000KV)
- 1S–2S tiny whoops
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 0802 motor drawn from HappyModel’s published sizes, not its exact design. No-load speed is KV × 7.4 V, a nominal pack for this version. HappyModel’s bench tables for it step by thrust rather than throttle, so they are in the bench data below, not on this readout.

What to pair it with
Our reading of HappyModel’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.
- ESC
- HappyModel's bench tops out at 5 A (16000KV on 7 V, 40 mm four-blade), 4.53 A (25000KV), 4.25 A (19000KV) and 4.02 A (22000KV). A 1S–2S whoop board rated above 5 A per motor covers them. (HappyModel product page)
- Props
- HappyModel tested 31 mm and 40 mm four-blade props, a Gemfan 1219 three-blade (30 mm), and a 55 mm two-blade on the 19000KV. (HappyModel product page)
- Battery
- 1S–2S LiPo. HappyModel's 2S test is the 16000KV on 7 V. (HappyModel product page)
- Frame
- Three M1.4 screws on a 6.6 mm circle; the leads plug into a JST 1.25 mm socket. (HappyModel product page, HappyModel drawing)

Bench data
Redrawn from HappyModel’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Shaft. 1 mm, held in the motor by two E-clips (HappyModel's "double E-clip design"). (HappyModel product page)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 19000KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 281,200 | 28,120 Hz | 168,720 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 319,200 | 31,920 Hz | 191,520 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 421,800 | 42,180 Hz | 253,080 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 478,800 | 47,880 Hz | 287,280 |
A 12-pole rotor has 6 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 6 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 36 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from HappyModel’s published sizes: the 8 × 2 mm stator, 10.5 mm bell, 7.7 mm height, 1 mm shaft, 6.6 mm mounting circle and 9 teeth and 12 magnets. Anything HappyModel doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
