8- to 10-inch long-range FPV motor
GEPRC SPEEDX2 3110
A 79.3 g 3110 for 8- to 10-inch long-range quads, in 900KV for 6S–8S or 1250KV for 6S; on GEPRC’s 6S bench the 1250KV pulled 3,184 g at full throttle on a Gemfan 9045 and the 900KV 2,788 g on a 10-inch HQProp.
- 8- to 10-inch long range
- 7- to 9-inch X8
- 6S (both KVs) or 8S (900KV)
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 3110 motor drawn from GEPRC’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are GEPRC’s bench figures for the HQProp 10 × 5 × 3 prop at 24.89 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 50% throttle.
- Max thrust
- 2,788 g
- HQProp 10 × 5 × 3 prop, 24.89 V
- Weight
- 79.3 g
- including the leads; the same for both KVs
- Peak current
- 49.7 A

What it pulls
GEPRC’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the HQProp 10 × 5 × 3: 1,537 g of thrust, 18.6 A, 459 W, 3.30 g per watt.
On your quad
17.2 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 11,152 g with the HQProp 10 × 5 × 3 at 24.89 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 6,148 g, 9.5 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.
What you get
3.2 kg on 6S
The 1250KV pulled 3,184 g at full throttle on a Gemfan 9045 at 22.56 V, drawing 75.26 A.
900KV up to 8S
GEPRC rates the 900KV for 6S–8S and 7- to 10-inch props; on a 10-inch HQProp at about 24 V it pulled 2,788 g at 49.66 A.

Kawasaki steel, N52H magnets
A Kawasaki silicon-steel stator and N52H magnets; GEPRC says the magnetic circuit uses about 10% less power than conventional motors of the same class.

Bench data

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. 7075-T6 aluminium alloy, CNC-machined in one piece, black with a CD-textured finish and red-edged cut-outs; GEPRC says the rotor’s rim is shaped to take impacts. (GEPRC product page, GEPRC rotor image, GEPRC structure image)
- Stator. 31 × 10 mm, Kawasaki silicon steel, 12N14P, with a single-strand copper winding. (GEPRC product page, GEPRC spec image)
- Magnets. N52H arc magnets. (GEPRC product page, GEPRC spec image)
- Bearings. NSK/NMB, as GEPRC gives them. (GEPRC spec image)
- Base. A 3.5 mm base with four M3 holes on a 19 mm circle and 18 AWG leads. (GEPRC spec image, GEPRC drawing)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 900KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 13,320 | 1,554 Hz | 9,324 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 15,120 | 1,764 Hz | 10,584 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 19,980 | 2,331 Hz | 13,986 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 22,680 | 2,646 Hz | 15,876 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from GEPRC’s published sizes: the 31 × 10 mm stator, 37.8 mm bell, 24.6 mm height, 5 mm shaft, 19 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything GEPRC doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
