2 to 2.5-inch toothpick and cinewhoop motor
GEPRC SPEEDX2 1303.5
A 6.5 g 1303.5 for 2-inch guarded cinewhoops and 2.5-inch freestyle quads; on GEPRC’s bench on a GF3016*3 the 5500KV pulls 361 g per motor on 4S and the 3800KV 392 g on 6S.
- 2-inch guarded cinewhoops
- 2.5-inch freestyle
- 4S (5500KV) or 6S (3800KV)
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 1303.5 motor drawn from GEPRC’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are GEPRC’s bench figures for the GF3016*3 prop at 14.8 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 50% throttle.
- Max thrust
- 361 g
- GF3016*3 prop, 14.8 V
- Weight
- 6.5 g
- with 90 mm leads; the same for both KVs
- Peak current
- 8.7 A
- full throttle
- Max power
- 129 W
- full throttle

What it pulls
GEPRC’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the GF3016*3: 204 g of thrust, 3.4 A, 51 W, 4.81 g per watt.
On your quad
2.2 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 1,444 g with the GF3016*3 at 14.8 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 817 g, 1.3 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.
What you get
About 390 g on 6S
The 3800KV pulled 392 g at full throttle on a GF3016*3 at 22.2 V, drawing 6.3 A; the 5500KV pulled 361 g on the same prop at 14.8 V, at 8.7 A.

6.5 g with leads
A one-piece 7075-T aluminium bell with a largely open top keeps it to 6.5 g with 90 mm leads.

Raised prop platform
The prop sits on a platform 1.9 mm above the bell, which GEPRC says suits inverted props and keeps high-pitch props off the top of the rotor.

What to pair it with
Our reading of GEPRC’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.

- Props
- GEPRC tested GF2540, GF3016*2, GF3016*3 and HQ 3*2.5*3 props, and says the 1.5 mm shaft takes the usual 2 to 2.5-inch props. (GEPRC product page, GEPRC data table)
- Battery
- 4S for the 5500KV (rated 2S–4S), 6S for the 3800KV (rated 4S–6S). (GEPRC product page, GEPRC spec image, GEPRC test infographic)

Bench data
Redrawn from GEPRC’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. One-piece 7075-T aluminium with a bladed, largely open top that GEPRC says lets in more air and keeps the motor cooler, and a raised platform for the prop. (GEPRC product page)
- Stator. 9N12P with N52H arc magnets and what GEPRC calls a low internal loss stator. (GEPRC product page, GEPRC features image)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 5500KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 81,400 | 8,140 Hz | 48,840 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 92,400 | 9,240 Hz | 55,440 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 122,100 | 12,210 Hz | 73,260 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 138,600 | 13,860 Hz | 83,160 |
A 12-pole rotor has 6 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 6 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 36 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from GEPRC’s published sizes: the 13 × 3.5 mm stator, 17.35 mm bell, 11.7 mm height, 1.5 mm shaft, 9 mm mounting circle and 9 teeth and 12 magnets. Anything GEPRC doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
