1.6 to 2-inch 1S whoop and micro motor
GEPRC SPEEDX2 1002
A 2.5 g 1002 for 1S whoops and 1.6 to 2-inch micros; on GEPRC’s 3.7 V bench the 25000KV pulls up to 103 g at full throttle on a 2-inch GF2015R two-blade.
- 1S whoops and 1.6 to 2-inch micros
- 1S (25000KV) or 1S–2S (18000KV)
- 40 mm and 2-inch Gemfan props
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 1002 motor drawn from GEPRC’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are GEPRC’s bench figures for the GF2015R*2 prop at 3.7 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 50% throttle.

What it pulls
GEPRC’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the GF2015R*2: 61 g of thrust, 5.6 A, 21 W, 3.22 g per watt.
On your quad
0.6 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 412 g with the GF2015R*2 at 3.7 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 242 g, 0.4 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.

What to pair it with
Our reading of GEPRC’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.
- ESC
- GEPRC recommends a 12 A ESC. Its tables peak at 15.9 A (25000KV) and 11.1 A (18000KV), both on the GF2023R*3 at full throttle, runs GEPRC marks as hot. (GEPRC product page, GEPRC datasheet)
- Props
- GEPRC tested five Gemfan props at 3.7 V: GF1610R*2, GF1635R*3, GF1635R*4, GF2015R*2 and GF2023R*3. The 2-inch GF2015R*2 gave the most thrust on both KVs (103 g and 76 g). (GEPRC datasheet)
- Battery
- 1S for the 25000KV; 1S or 2S for the 18000KV. (GEPRC product page, GEPRC spec image)
- Frame
- Three M1.4 holes on a 6.6 mm circle; GEPRC says it suits 1.6 to 2-inch drones. (GEPRC product page, GEPRC drawing)

Bench data
Redrawn from GEPRC’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. Titanium grey with blue cut edges and a four-spoke top; GEPRC calls the colour titanium blue. (GEPRC product page, GEPRC product photo)
- Stator. 10 × 2 mm, 9N12P. (GEPRC product page, GEPRC spec image)
- Bearings. 415ZZ bearings. (GEPRC product page, GEPRC spec image)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 25000KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 370,000 | 37,000 Hz | 222,000 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 420,000 | 42,000 Hz | 252,000 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 555,000 | 55,500 Hz | 333,000 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 630,000 | 63,000 Hz | 378,000 |
A 12-pole rotor has 6 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 6 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 36 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from GEPRC’s published sizes: the 10 × 2 mm stator, 13.69 mm bell, 7.75 mm height, 1.5 mm shaft, 6.6 mm mounting circle and 9 teeth and 12 magnets. Anything GEPRC doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
