2–3-inch toothpick FPV motor
GEPRC GR1404
A 9.8 g 1404 with a 1.5 mm shaft, rated 2S–4S, in 2750KV, 3850KV and 4500KV; GEPRC publishes no bench data for it.
- 2–3-inch toothpicks
- 2S–4S
- 9 mm motor mounts
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 1404 motor drawn from GEPRC’s published sizes, not its exact design. No-load speed is KV × 14.8 V, a nominal pack for this version. GEPRC publishes no bench data for it.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Shaft. 1.5 mm; the photos show four threaded holes in the top of the bell around it. (GEPRC 4500KV page, GEPRC top photo)
- Stator. The coils are wound on a stack of thin steel laminations: 14 × 4 mm (1404). (GEPRC 4500KV page, GEPRC 3850KV page, GEPRC 2750KV page)
- Base. 4 holes on a 9 mm pattern (GEPRC gives the hole position as 9 mm and no screw size). (GEPRC 4500KV page, GEPRC base photo)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 4500KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 66,600 | 6,660 Hz | 39,960 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 75,600 | 7,560 Hz | 45,360 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 99,900 | 9,990 Hz | 59,940 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 113,400 | 11,340 Hz | 68,040 |
A 12-pole rotor has 6 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 6 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 36 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from GEPRC’s published sizes: the 14 × 4 mm stator, 18.3 mm bell, 1.5 mm shaft, 9 mm mounting circle and 9 teeth and 12 magnets. Anything GEPRC doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
