2- to 3-inch cinewhoop, freestyle and racing motor
Flywoo NIN V2 1203 Pro
A 4.7 g motor that Flywoo pitches for cinewhoops, micro rippers and 2- to 3-inch freestyle and racing; on its 14.8 V bench the 3400KV pulls 197 g with an HQ 65 mm prop.
- 2- to 3-inch freestyle and racing, cinewhoops and micro rippers, as Flywoo lists them
- 3S–4S (3400KV, 5500KV) or 1S–2S (11500KV)
- Gemfan 2-inch, D51 and 3-inch props and HQ 65 mm props
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 1203 motor drawn from Flywoo’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are Flywoo’s bench figures for the HQT65R prop at 14.8 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 50% throttle.

What it pulls
Flywoo’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the HQT65R: 102 g of thrust, 2.1 A, 31 W, 4.26 g per watt.
On your quad
1.2 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 788 g with the HQT65R at 14.8 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 407 g, 0.6 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.
What you get

Bench data
Redrawn from Flywoo’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. One piece (unibell), electroplated. (Flywoo product page (archived))
- Top. Cut with two rings of windows, with four M2 holes 5 mm apart around the 1.5 mm shaft, which stands 4.8 mm above the bell. (Flywoo drawing)
- Magnets. Curved magnets, 12 poles. (Flywoo product page (archived))
- Stator. 12 mm across and 3 mm tall, with 9 slots. (Flywoo product page (archived))
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 3400KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 50,320 | 5,032 Hz | 30,192 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 57,120 | 5,712 Hz | 34,272 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 75,480 | 7,548 Hz | 45,288 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 85,680 | 8,568 Hz | 51,408 |
A 12-pole rotor has 6 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 6 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 36 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from Flywoo’s published sizes: the 12 × 3 mm stator, 16.2 mm bell, 9.9 mm height, 1.5 mm shaft, 9 mm mounting circle and 9 teeth and 12 magnets. Anything Flywoo doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
