75 mm 1S whoop motor
EMAX 08025 II
EMAX’s factory motor for the EZ Pilot Pro, its 75 mm beginner whoop: the second-generation 08025 at 15000KV, for 1S.
- EMAX EZ Pilot Pro (replacement)
- 1S
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 0802.5 motor drawn from EMAX’s published sizes, not its exact design. No-load speed is KV × 3.7 V, a nominal pack for this version. EMAX publishes no bench data for it.

The EZ Pilot Pro’s motor
EMAX fits four of these to the EZ Pilot Pro, its 75 mm beginner whoop of 32.5 g dry, and sells the motor as its spare.
Second-generation 08025
EMAX calls the 08025 II the second generation of its 08025 motor, with better performance than the first.

What to pair it with
Our reading of EMAX’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.
- Battery
- 1S. The EZ Pilot Pro ready-to-fly kit comes with an EMAX 1S 450 mAh pack. (EMAX EZ Pilot Pro page)
- ESC
- On the EZ Pilot Pro the motors run from the 6 A ESC on its MATEKF411 all-in-one board. EMAX publishes no current figures for the motor. (EMAX EZ Pilot Pro page)
- Props
- On the EZ Pilot Pro it spins EMAX’s Turtlemode props. (EMAX EZ Pilot Pro page)
- Frame
- A direct replacement on the EZ Pilot Pro. EMAX publishes no hole pattern; its photos show a three-armed base with three holes. (EMAX USA product page, EMAX product page)

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Stator. The coils are wound on a stack of thin steel laminations: 8 × 2.5 mm (EMAX writes 08025). (EMAX USA product page, EMAX product page)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 15000KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 222,000 | 22,200 Hz | 133,200 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 252,000 | 25,200 Hz | 151,200 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 333,000 | 33,300 Hz | 199,800 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 378,000 | 37,800 Hz | 226,800 |
A 12-pole rotor has 6 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 6 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 36 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from EMAX’s published sizes: the 8 × 2.5 mm stator. Anything EMAX doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
