1S–2S whoop motor
BrotherHobby Avenger 0804
A 3.4 g micro motor for 1S–2S: 8 × 4 mm stator, 9N12P, 11.4 mm across and 14.1 mm tall, on a 1.5 mm shaft with three M2 holes on a 7 mm circle.

- 1S–2S
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 0804 motor drawn from BrotherHobby’s published sizes, not its exact design. No-load speed is KV × 7.4 V, a nominal pack for this version. BrotherHobby publishes no bench data for it.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. 7075 aluminium, φ11.4 mm. The top has six arms between notches round the rim, and two M2 holes on a 5 mm circle. (BrotherHobby spec image, BrotherHobby drawing (1 mm shaft))
- Shaft. 1.5 mm, standing 3 mm above the bell; a second drawing on the page shows a 1 mm shaft. (BrotherHobby spec image, BrotherHobby drawing (1 mm shaft), BrotherHobby drawing (1.5 mm shaft))
- Magnets. N52H arc magnets, 12 poles. (BrotherHobby spec image)
- Stator. 8 × 4 mm with 9 slots, in 0.2 mm Kawasaki silicon steel. (BrotherHobby spec image)
- Bearings. NSK, 4 × 1.5 × 2 mm. (BrotherHobby spec image)
- Base. 7075 aluminium, with three M2 holes on a 7 mm circle. (BrotherHobby spec image, BrotherHobby drawing (1 mm shaft))
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 10000KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 148,000 | 14,800 Hz | 88,800 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 168,000 | 16,800 Hz | 100,800 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 222,000 | 22,200 Hz | 133,200 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 252,000 | 25,200 Hz | 151,200 |
A 12-pole rotor has 6 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 6 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 36 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from BrotherHobby’s published sizes: the 8 × 4 mm stator, 11.4 mm bell, 11.1 mm height, 1.5 mm shaft, 7 mm mounting circle and 9 teeth and 12 magnets. Anything BrotherHobby doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
