1S–3S micro and toothpick motor
BetaFPV 1103
A 3.3 g motor for 2S micro quads like BetaFPV's Beta75X, with an 8000KV version for 3S and a 15000KV version for 1S toothpicks.
- 75 mm 2S and 3S quads (Beta75X)
- 85–120 mm 1S toothpicks (15000KV)
- 40 mm four-blade props
The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 1103 motor drawn from BetaFPV’s published sizes, not its exact design. No-load speed is KV × 7.4 V, a nominal pack for this version. BetaFPV publishes no bench data for it.
- Weight
- 3.3 g
- 11000KV; 3.8 g for the 8000KV, 3.7 g for the 15000KV

N48H magnets
BetaFPV lists sintered NdFeB N48H high-temperature magnets, a Kawasaki silicon steel core and aviation aluminium alloy.

Thicker leads
BetaFPV says the cable is thicker and strengthened so it doesn't break off, and longer for toothpick builds.

3.3 g
The 11000KV weighs 3.3 g; the 15000KV 3.7 g and the 8000KV 3.8 g.

What to pair it with
Our reading of BetaFPV’s numbers, so your build matches what the motor was tested with.
- ESC
- BetaFPV pairs the 8000KV and 11000KV with its F4 2-4S AIO 12A board, and the 15000KV with its F4 1S brushless board. (BetaFPV product page)
- Props
- 40 mm four-blade props for every KV; BetaFPV also lists 3020 two-blade props for the 8000KV and 11000KV, and 65 mm two-blade props for the 15000KV. (BetaFPV product page)
- Battery
- 3S for the 8000KV, 2S for the 11000KV, 1S for the 15000KV. BetaFPV warns that the 11000KV overheats on 3S and can burn out the ESC. (BetaFPV product page)
- Frame
- M1.6 screws on an 8.5 mm circle; BetaFPV names its Beta75X frame. Spare M1.6×4 screws come in the box. (BetaFPV product page)

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. Black, with a five-spoke top. (BetaFPV product photos)
- Magnets. Sintered NdFeB magnets of grade N48H, rated for high temperature. (BetaFPV product page)
- Stator. A core of Japanese Kawasaki silicon steel sheets. (BetaFPV product page)
- Leads. 32 mm on the 11000KV, 35 or 55 mm on the 8000KV and 45 mm on the 15000KV, ending in a Micro JST 1.25 mm three-pin plug. (BetaFPV product page)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 11000KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 162,800 | 16,280 Hz | 97,680 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 184,800 | 18,480 Hz | 110,880 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 244,200 | 24,420 Hz | 146,520 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 277,200 | 27,720 Hz | 166,320 |
A 12-pole rotor has 6 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 6 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 36 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from BetaFPV’s published sizes: the 11 × 3 mm stator, 1.5 mm shaft and 8.5 mm mounting circle. Anything BetaFPV doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
