The spin is an illustration: the model turns at 1/600 of the no-load speed, and it is a generic 2207.5 motor drawn from Axisflying’s published sizes, not its exact design. Thrust, current and power are Axisflying’s bench figures for the BB4943.5 prop at 24.04 V, read straight across between its throttle steps. Its data starts at 30% throttle.
- Max thrust
- 1,819 g
- BB4943.5 prop, 24.04 V
- Weight
- 35.5 g
- 35.65 g for the 1860KV. Axisflying's text says without cable; its spec image (S2) says with wire.
- Peak current
- 39.8 A

What it pulls
Axisflying’s own bench test, one line per prop. Drag across the chart to move the throttle; the model above follows.
At 60% with the BB4943.5: 870 g of thrust, 13.7 A, 325 W, 2.68 g per watt.
On your quad
11.2 : 1
Thrust to weight at full throttle: four motors pull 7,274 g with the BB4943.5 at 24.04 V.
At 60% throttle they pull 3,479 g, 5.4 times the quad’s weight.
All-up weight is the quad ready to fly, with its battery and camera. The thrust is the maker’s static bench figure; in the air it is lower.

Bench data
Redrawn from Axisflying’s test reports. Thrust is static pull on a bench, more than you get in flight. Power is volts × amps; efficiency is thrust divided by power.

Inside the motor
A brushless outrunner: the coils stand still in the middle and the magnets spin around them. From the top down:
- Bell. One-piece aluminium, anodised sky blue with a pink top; the top carries a Y-shaped double-layer reinforcement. (Axisflying feature images)
- Magnets. N52H curved magnets, 14 poles. (Axisflying feature images)
- Stator. 22 × 7.5 mm, 12 slots, 0.15 mm silicon steel, wound with high-temperature enamelled wire. (Axisflying feature images)
- Bearings. NMB bearings with a waterproof and dustproof design. (Axisflying feature images)
- Shaft. Titanium alloy with an M5 thread, standing 13.5 mm above the bell; an M3×4 screw locks it. (Axisflying drawing and specs)
- Leads. 20 AWG silicone wire, 150 mm. (Axisflying product page)
How fast it spins
KV is the motor’s no-load speed per volt. With nothing on the shaft, the 1960KV version reaches about these speeds; a prop loads the motor and brings it down, typically to around 70–75% of these figures at full throttle.
| Battery | Volts | No-load rpm (KV × V) | Electrical frequency | ESC steps per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4S nominal | 14.8 | 29,008 | 3,384 Hz | 20,306 |
| 4S full | 16.8 | 32,928 | 3,842 Hz | 23,050 |
| 6S nominal | 22.2 | 43,512 | 5,076 Hz | 30,458 |
| 6S full | 25.2 | 49,392 | 5,762 Hz | 34,574 |
A 14-pole rotor has 7 pole pairs, so every turn of the shaft is 7 electrical cycles, and a six-step ESC switches the phases 42 times per turn.
About the 3D model
A generic outrunner drawn from Axisflying’s published sizes: the 22 × 7.5 mm stator, 27.9 mm bell, 19.4 mm height, 5 mm shaft, 16 mm mounting circle and 12 teeth and 14 magnets. Anything Axisflying doesn’t publish is typical for a motor this size, and the bell’s spoked top, the base and the inside are a generic design, not this motor’s. The colours are read off the maker’s product photos. There are no logos or markings: it is our drawing, not the maker’s.
